COMMUNITY BASED REHABILITATION SERVICES

WHAT IS CBRS?

WHAT?

Community Based Rehabilitation Services (CBRS) is a home and community based mental health service. It allows children to build on various functional aspects, such as social support and relationships, education, family dynamics, and basic living skills. This intervention allows goals to be practiced but in the home and community.

WHO?

Children and teens in the state of Idaho between the ages of 8-18 years old can receive CBRS.

HOW?

CBRS typically involves 4-8 hours of weekly services depending upon needs presented. CBRS allows children and their families to collaboratively develop a "treatment plan" in which goals and objectives are set. With a treatment plan, meetings are set weekly to biweekly to engage in practices that direct the goals previously set. Goals can be altered at anytime as each recovery journey is unique.
