Stephanie Pearl was the visionary Founder and Executive Director of A New Beginning, a passionate leader whose life’s work was dedicated to the service and support of others. With over 25 years of experience in the social work field, Stephanie made a profound impact in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, elementary schools, the juvenile justice system, and family services. Her unwavering commitment to children and families led her to focus the last 20 years of her career in the field of adoption, where she worked closely with all members of the adoption triad—birth families, adoptive parents, and children.

Stephanie believed deeply in the power of compassion, education, and preparation in guiding families through the adoption journey. Her work was grounded in empathy and advocacy, and she was known for her tireless dedication to ensuring every child had the opportunity to grow up in a loving, supportive home. In addition to her work at A New Beginning, she served as a board member for Blaze The Trail, an organization that raises funds to assist military families with adoption-related expenses—further extending her legacy of service and care.

Stephanie’s personal life was as rich and heartfelt as her professional one. She and her husband were proud parents to two children—an adopted daughter from China and a biological son—who were the light of her life. She cherished her family and found joy in life’s simple pleasures: traveling, soaking in natural hot springs, playing games with loved ones, reading, and getting lost in a good TV series.

Stephanie’s legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her work, her kindness, and her boundless dedication to creating new beginnings for children and families.
